Preston Daniel Matthews is an honors graduate from the University of Tennessee College of Law where he specialized in the areas of real estate and corporate law.  Preston also studied law at Cambridge University in England.  During his time at the University of Tennessee, Preston was a member of a non-profit clinic that advised non-profit corporations throughout the Knoxville area.  He was also President of the Sword and Scale Law Society, which is dedicated to bridging the gap between all professional students at the University.  While in law school Preston authored several legal articles and notes, including “A Horse Divided: Colt’s Second Bankruptcy” which has been downloaded and/or cited over 1000 times.

Prior to law school, Preston attended Austin Peay State University, where he served on the executive board of Alpha Tau Omega.  This organization partnered with St. Jude Children’s hospital to raise over $25,000 each year through their spring charity event, Jump for Jude.

In his spare time he enjoys hiking and participating in sports at the Nashville Sports League.
